What are Service Types?

Service Types are the categories of work you offer as a creative professional. They act as the backbone of every document TCB generates β€” defining the structure, deliverables, and language used in your Proposals, Contracts, and other documents.

Examples of Service Types:

  • Brand Identity

  • Social Media Management

  • Copywriting

  • UI/UX Design

  • Video Production

How do they work?

When you select a Role during onboarding, TCB automatically creates a set of default Service Types based on your professional activity. When you create a document, you pick which Service Type applies β€” and TCB uses that to structure the content correctly.

How to customize your Service Types

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar.

  2. Open the Service Types section.

  3. Edit existing types or add new ones to match your specific services.

  4. You can also customize the block items inside each Service Type to fine-tune what appears in your documents.

Can I add my own Service Types?

Yes. If your work doesn't fit the defaults, you can create custom Service Types tailored to your niche.
