Can I change my Role after signing up?

Your Role is set during onboarding and shapes your initial Base. If it doesn't match your work, here's what you can do.

Can I change my Role after signing up?

There is no automatic Role switcher in the current version of TCB. Your Role is selected once during onboarding and is used to build your initial Base β€” the default Service Types that come pre-loaded in your account.

What if I chose the wrong Role?

Your Role determines the default Service Types that were pre-loaded for you when you signed up. If those defaults don't match your work, the easiest fix is to customize them directly:

  • Go to Settings β†’ Service Types.

  • Edit, add, or remove Service Types to match what you actually do.

This gives you full control over your Base regardless of the Role you chose. The Role is just the starting point β€” your customizations are what matter going forward.

Can I have multiple Roles?

No. Each account has one Role in the current version. However, since you can create and customize Service Types freely, you can cover multiple disciplines without needing to change your Role.
