Who is TCB for?
The Creators Base is built for creative freelancers and small creative studios, professionals who sell creative services to clients and need a back-office to manage their proposals, contracts, invoices, and project work.
The platform is purpose-built for the creative sector. When you sign up you pick the discipline closest to your work, and your Base is born with a catalogue of services built around it. There are eight to choose from:
Graphic designers, brand identity, print, digital design
Brand designers, brand strategy, visual identity, brand systems
Social media managers, content strategy, community management, paid social
Copywriters, brand copy, content writing, UX writing
Web developers, sites, landing pages, ongoing maintenance
Video creators, editing, motion, content production
Photographers, shoots, retouching, licensing
Consultants, strategy, audits, advisory work
My discipline is not on that list
That is a common one, and the answer is better than it sounds.
The discipline you pick is a starting point, not a label. What it really does is decide which services your Base is born with. Every one of them can be renamed, repriced, rewritten or archived in Base Setup, and you can add services of your own that never existed in our catalogue. Nothing else in the product is tied to the choice: your documents, projects, clients and portal work the same way whatever you picked.
So if you are an interior designer, an illustrator, an architect, a sound designer or anything else adjacent to the eight above, pick the closest one and reshape it. It works.
That said, we would rather build your catalogue than watch you build it alone. Tell us in the chat which discipline you work in and which four or five services you actually sell, and it goes straight onto the list of catalogues we are adding. More disciplines are being added through 2026, and the ones people ask for go first.
I run a business, is TCB right for me?
It depends on what kind of business. TCB is not a general business management tool, it is purpose-built for professionals who provide creative services to clients.
If your business is in the creative sector and you work with clients on briefs, scopes and deliverables, then yes, TCB was built for you.
If your business operates outside the creative sector, TCB may not be the right fit. The document templates, Base Services and project structures are all designed around creative work and will not map well to other types of services.
Who is TCB not designed for?
TCB is built for solo professionals and small studios. In its current version, it does not support team collaboration or multi-user workspaces. If you run a larger agency with multiple team members needing shared access, TCB may not be the right fit yet.
TCB is also not designed for businesses operating outside the creative sector, the platform is specialized, and its value comes from that focus.
