What should I do first? Your first 10 minutes on TCB

Refine your Base, pick the path that matches where you are, and get your first real document out.

Your first 10 minutes

You have signed up, TCB has built your Base, and you are looking at the Your Base is built screen. Here is the fastest way to make the product work for your real business.

1. Refine your Base (2 minutes)

This is the highest-value thing you can do first. Your services arrive priced from market benchmarks for your craft, which is a starting point, not your prices.

Refine asks a handful of questions, your profession, your experience, the service you sell most, what it delivers and what you charge for it, and reprices and reorders your Base around the answers. You watch it change as you answer.

Everything TCB builds afterwards, every proposal, contract, invoice and project scope, comes out of that Base. Two minutes here saves the editing later. Read Refine: make your Base truly yours.

2. Pick the path that matches where you are

The same screen offers three ways to start, and the right one depends on your situation today.

  • You already have work in progress. Choose Bring in your projects. It records what was agreed, what was already paid and where the delivery stands, so the project arrives true instead of pretending to start today.

  • You have someone you are talking to. Create the deal directly. Three questions and you have a client, a project in Pipeline and a proposal draft.

  • You have no clients yet. Build a 30-day plan. Set what you want to earn, and TCB composes the specific sales that get you there, from your own Base.

3. Set up your profile (1 minute)

Go to My Account and add your photo and name. If you work under a studio or brand name, fill in the Organization field, since that is what appears on your documents instead of your personal name.

4. Send your first document (3 minutes)

Open the project and create the document. TCB builds the draft from your Base, the live preview shows exactly what your client will receive, and from there you export it as a PDF, email it, or send it for signature.
