Billing currency and tax, handled automatically
When you upgrade to Plus, your billing currency and any applicable tax are determined automatically at checkout — you don't need to select anything. The full total, including tax, is always shown before you confirm payment.
Which currency will I be billed in?
Your currency is set based on your location at checkout:
United Kingdom — billed in GBP (£)
Everywhere else — billed in EUR (€)
Payment is by card, processed securely through Stripe.
What does Plus cost in each currency?
EUR — €12 / month or €120 / year
GBP — £10 / month or £96 / year
VAT, where applicable, is added on top of these amounts at checkout.
How is VAT handled?
Any applicable VAT is calculated and added automatically at checkout, based on your billing location. If you have a business tax ID — such as an EU VAT number — you can enter it during checkout so it appears on your invoice and the correct tax treatment is applied.
Is this the same currency my projects use?
No — this article is about how you pay for TCB Plus. The money you charge your clients is separate: each of your projects has its own currency, chosen from 40+ supported currencies. Read Working with multiple currencies for that side.
Where do I find my invoices?
Every payment generates an invoice automatically, available in My Account → Billing. Each invoice shows the amount, the currency, and any VAT applied. You can download them anytime for your accounting.
