What is AI Insights?
AI Insights is the intelligence layer of The Creators Base. It reads the business data you already keep in your Base — and nothing else — and turns it into clear, actionable guidance: where you deliver fastest, which services earn you the most, where a deadline is slipping, where your pipeline needs attention, and where you might be undercharging.
Insights appear in the Intelligence panel of your dashboard and are refreshed daily. Cards generated by AI carry an AI badge, so you always know when you're reading AI analysis versus a standard automatic reminder.
AI Insights is part of the PRO plan. During the closed beta, it is unlocked for every account at no cost.
What data does it use?
Your insights are generated exclusively from your own data in TCB:
Projects — status, value, timelines, and progress
Tasks — deadlines, priorities, and completion
Documents — proposals, contracts, and invoices, including when they were sent and paid
Your service rates — the pricing you've configured for your Service Types
Your professional profile — your role, experience, country, and currency, used to make insights relevant to your context
Nothing outside your Base is used. The AI is explicitly instructed to cite only numbers that actually exist in your data — it never invents trends or figures.
Anonymous benchmarks — how comparisons work
Some insights compare your rates and timelines with other professionals like you — for example, freelancers with your role in your region. This is where we are strictest about privacy:
Comparisons only ever use anonymous, aggregated statistics — things like the median or percentile ranges of a group. Individual values never leave the system.
Benchmark groups must be large enough to guarantee anonymity. If a group is too small to make identification impossible, we simply don't show the comparison at all.
You're part of that whole too — and just like everyone else, you are never identifiable within it. No user can ever see another user's numbers, and neither can the AI.
The layers of protection around your data
Multiple safeguards work together so that no personal data is ever exposed:
Your data stays yours. Insights are generated from your data, for you alone. They are never shared with, or visible to, any other user.
Identity separation. Your account identity is stripped from your data before the AI analysis runs. The AI engine works on your business numbers, not on who you are.
Strict account isolation. Every read and every action is locked to your account on our servers. There is no path for one account's data to leak into another's insights.
Aggregate-only comparisons. Anything that involves other users is reduced to anonymous group statistics before it is ever touched — see the benchmarks section above.
We never sell your data. Full stop. Your data is processed for one purpose only: generating your insights.
Deletion means deletion. If you delete your account, your insights and the data behind them are deleted with it.
What you control
You decide how present AI Insights is in your workspace. In Base Setup → Intelligence you can:
Turn the Intelligence panel on or off entirely
Choose which categories and priority levels you want to see
On each insight card you can also dismiss it, snooze it for a week, or rate it with a thumbs up or down — your feedback tunes future insights.
Why we built it this way
Most creators and freelancers don't have a business analyst watching their numbers. AI Insights exists to change that — to spot the patterns, risks, and opportunities hiding in your own data and hand them to you as something you can act on.
We believe that's only worth doing if it's done responsibly. That's why the system is built around one principle: your numbers stay yours. The intelligence comes from your data — the privacy protections make sure it never goes anywhere else.
