What powers TCB right now?
In Version 1.0, The Creators Base is not powered by AI. What makes the platform work is a rules engine — a structured system that reads your Service Types, project context, and client data, and uses that to compose your documents automatically.
When TCB builds a draft document, it is not writing or generating text with AI. It is applying your own structured data — your pricing, scope, deliverables, and tasks — to a document template, following built-in rules for each document type and Service Type combination. The output is fast and consistent because the structure is defined, not because a model is predicting it.
This is deliberate. Your documents represent your professional voice — and that starts with your data, not a language model's output.
What about the chat widget?
The support chat you see inside TCB is powered by Fin, an AI assistant built by Intercom. Fin uses our Help Center articles to answer your questions automatically.
Fin is a third-party support tool — it is not part of the TCB product itself. It is the only AI you will encounter in V1.
Why does the Privacy Policy mention AI?
Our Privacy Policy references AI capabilities — including AI automation, AI insights, and AI document generation — because these are part of our planned infrastructure and product roadmap.
We cover them in our policy now because good legal practice requires disclosing intended data processing before it happens, not after. It does not mean those features are active in V1. They are not.
What's coming in Version 2.0?
AI is central to where The Creators Base is going. Planned for the second half of 2026, V2 will introduce an intelligent assistant built directly into your Base.
The vision: an AI that learns from your behaviour, your Service Types, your project history, and how you work — and uses all of that context to help you work faster and smarter. Not a generic AI assistant. A contextual one, shaped by your own Base.
The more you build your Base now — customizing your Service Types, adding clients and projects, creating documents — the more context the AI will have to work with when it arrives. The work you do in V1 is not just useful today. It is the foundation the AI will learn from.
The honest version
V1 is a powerful rules-based system. V2 will add an intelligent layer on top of it. We are not calling V1 AI because it is not — and we think you deserve to know exactly what you are using.
If you have questions about how we handle data in preparation for AI features, see our Privacy Policy or reach out via the chat widget.
